At the end of April, the Norfolk Museums Service and Archives ran a series of workshops for Year 8. Students had the opportunity to work out what artefacts were - from chocolate stamps to Mustard shovels – and try on rare hats made by Rumsey Wells (a notable Hellesdon-born 19th Century hat maker). They investigated how the Colmans lived and how breweries developed in Norwich.
There was plenty of material to use for the Dragons’ Den competition. Year 8 classes have worked in groups to prepare their presentations, and the best group from each class will be put forward for the Year 8 Dragons’ Den final on 31 May.
